Established in 2005, the Zambia Forum for Health Research (ZAMFOHR) envisions an environment in which health research evidence forms the basis for policy and practice, leading to the improved health of all Zambians. Its specific goals are to:

• harmonize and harvest health research both in Zambia and relating to Zambian issues
• assist knowledge translation processes, particularly as a broker bringing together the producers and users of knowledge
• provide a Resource Centre for the research communit
